After many months of preparation, we finally had our second full night on Brutallus. We managed to hit the Enrage once last week, but still had some healing issues to sort out. Everything clicked on that front last night, and after a couple of initial attempts things started to look good. Our initial plan for the night was to get to the Enrage again, and then break out the Haste and Destruction Potions, Elixirs of Demonslaying and other expensive consumables and push for the kill. We hit 53% at the 3 minute mark on our final warmup attempt, which put us in the ballpark for a kill. As the fight progressed, we realized that we were going to be very close. Sure enough, we hit 1% and he Enraged, and so everybody scrambled to try and finish him off. 20 seconds later, BigWigs kindly informed us that Brutallus had been defeated.

Second time ever hitting the Enrage, and on a warmup attempt.
Wow Web Stats
Certainly not the cleanest kill ever, but things are looking good for a pre-Enrage kill for next time. Huge thanks to everyone for all their hard work preparing for this fight over the past few months. And yes, I fail at screenshots, the corpse despawned right as we were getting into position. I think we were all so surprised at getting the kill so early that we forgot to do screenshots before handing out the loot.
Congratulations to the loot winners:
[Onslaught Waistguard] - Deadassassin
[Gronnstalker's Belt] - Toki
[Lightbringer Girdle] - Varius
[Heart of the Pit] - Moghed

After a solid first look last week, we were confident going back in last night. We'd identified a couple of holes in our strategy, and got off to a great start with some sub-30% wipes. 9 o'clock rolled around, so we recleared the trash and got ready for our last couple of attempts of the night.
3 pulls later and Sathrovarr was dead, and we'd successfully saved Kalecgos!

Fantastic work by everyone across the board, we were able to secure our first kill in roughly 3.5 hours of attempts on the boss itself. Special thanks to those who helped us last week but weren't able to be there for the kill last night.
Congratulations to the loot winners:
[Onslaught Wristguards] - Krugur
[Skyshatter Wristguards] - Eltoro
[Bracers of the Tempest] - Intoxify
[Starstalker Legguards] - Sarkul

It only took us 4 kills to complete a set of Warglaives, we had the [Warglaive of Azzinoth] drop on Monday night. While I feel extremely privileged to have received both drops, it truly was a team effort to get there.

Best of luck to Kytrarewn on the next set!

Thanks to everyone for coming out and giving Stan a great send off. We had plenty of friendly faces around, both old and new, and hopefully everyone had fun. Stan, you will be missed, and we all wish you nothing but the best for the future!
